The Freshest New Tech and Skin Treatments at OLC!

For a while now I’ve been looking to add some new skin care treatments to the menu at Ottawa Laser Clinic to better meet our client’s skin care concerns. My goal has always been the same when it comes to choosing new technology; to bring you the very best the industry has to offer. Over the last year I’ve been busy doing research and attending industry events to learn more about what’s new in the ever-evolving medical esthetics world. When choosing new treatments, it’s important to me to ensure they not only address your skin concerns, but also fit in with your lifestyle. More and more, I find that we are looking for options that help to improve our skin with the least amount of downtime possible. We live in a world where we try to maximize our time between work and personal lives, which leaves very little time for recovery and ‘downtime’ post treatment. With new advances in esthetic technologies we are able to deliver just that: great skin without compromising your busy schedule! I’m very excited to share with you the 3 newest additions to OLC from InMode Technologies.

Triton Triple Wavelength Laser Hair Removal

The Triton by InMode is the first laser for permanent hair reduction that combines 3 different laser wavelengths in one workstation: 755nm, 810nm and 1064nm. We now have the ability to treat more hair types than ever before and it is safe for treatment on all skin tones. A great thing about the Triton is it has a large spot size making treatment times fast; a small area like underarms can be treated in as little as 5 minutes and a large area like full legs only takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Also, an advanced cooling system works to cool the skin before, during and after each pulse of laser energy minimizing any discomfort. Now laser hair removal can be performed faster and with less pain than ever before!

Lumecca Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for Photorejuvenation

We’re very excited to finally offer our amazing clients the gold standard in IPL (intense pulse light) treatments. The Lumecca IPL can be used to treat pigmented and vascular lesions and also to improve skin texture by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These treatments are some of the easiest ways to rejuvenate and reduce the signs of aging skin! With Lumecca we can treat the following skin conditions:

• Age spots (red/brown pigmentations)
• Vascular lesions such as facial telangiectasias (spider veins) and poikiloderma
• Rosacea (redness)
• Freckles
• Sun damage

Lumecca is 3x more powerful than traditional IPL devices, delivering better results in fewer treatments. Most people see an improvement in skin clarity as soon as 10 days after receiving one treatment. We recommend a series of 3 treatments for best results.

 

Forma Radio Frequency (RF) for Skin Tightening

Sometimes big things come in small packages and Forma is one of those cases. This little hand-piece packs a ton of awesome power! Forma uses radio frequency to create heating and contraction in the deep layers of the skin, tightening and improving the skin’s elasticity. What that really means is smoother, firmer skin with a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles following a series of Forma treatments. It’s a very comfortable, non-invasive treatment that is often compared to the sensation of having a hot stone massage. Another great part of this treatment is that makeup can be applied immediately after making Forma a true ‘lunchtime’ treatment with no downtime.
