In the beginning, lasers were only capable of providing laser hair removal to clients with fair skin and dark hair. Thanks to advances, we can now we can treat most skin tones and hair colours. Also, treatments are less painful and faster than ever before.
In recent years there have been major breakthroughs in the technology used for tattoo removal and OLC is on the cutting edge of it. Believe it or not, there once was a time when green, blue and purple could not be removed efficiently, limiting the number of tattoos that could be effectively removed. At OLC we can now treat all colours of tattoos thanks to Picosure.
OLC’s Picosure uses photoacoustic energy to shatter ink particles with pressure rather than the traditional photothermal action used by older technology. The advantage is that tattoos can be removed in fewer treatments with less stress on the skin.
Also making great strides in recent years are skin rejuvenation techniques. Many technologies for skin rejuvenation often had to cause injury to the skin to achieve desired results. New technologies (like the PicoSure Focus Array and InMode technologies) are gentler on the skin, but still provide exceptional results. In addition, the downtime is minimal, and most clients can return to work or regular activities the same or following day.

Lightsheer Diode is the ‘gold standard’ for laser hair removal. It is Health Canada-approved for permanent hair reduction, and can successfully treat a wide range of skin tones and hair colours. Potenza: Potenza by Cynosure is an FDA& Health Canada-approved radiofrequency Microneedling treatment for the face and body.
